Citigroup Risk Reporting Analyst in Warsaw, Poland

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive monitoring of exposures; undertaking analysis/investigation where required to ensure exposures are properly reported and exceptions resolved in a timely manner. This may include interacting with Sales and Trading as well as Credit Risk to understand the credit transaction.

  • Cooperation with other departments and various levels of management regarding credit risk reporting issues, including investigating data issues, and resolving reporting errors.

  • Serving as subject matter expert regarding credit risk reporting.

  • Management of the assigned projects in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and that deliverables are met.

  • Identifying policy and procedure gaps within the department and propose and implement solutions.

  • Demonstrating an ability to resolve internal and external audit issues and to interpret information requests from Regulators.

  • Developing an understanding of how financial and capital markets transactions, including derivative and foreign exchange trading, generate risk exposure, and how this affects extensions of credit to varied clients.

  • Developing a high degree of technical and policy understanding with respect to business credit processing.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in banking sector, preferably in corporate credit risk management.

  • A passionate interest in finance and strong analytical, research and organizational skills are required.

  • Individuals should demonstrate integrity and exercise sound decision-making skills while, at the same time, knowing when to seek assistance from colleagues.

  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.

  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills.

  • Fluent English.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on MS Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of numbers.

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred.
