JOB OBJECTIVE
To support the delivery of risk management capability to programs and projects.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountabilities
For implementing Project risk management policy, processes, procedures, and systems to ensure quality and consistency of data is maintained
For ensuring that all relevant personnel are aware of their risk responsibilities
Create and manage risk registers to meet the programme and project requirements in the business systems (ARM)
To monitor risks monthly
To prepare risk information relating to ad hoc requests from projects and the business
For co-ordinating the flow of risk information to ensure that interfaces within projects are effectively managed to optimise efficiencies
For reporting the monthly status of risk management to stakeholders
For contributing to improving the quality and performance of risk management processes and systems
For undertaking the modelling (qualitative and quantitative), three-point estimates, schedules, and risk registers at each stage of the project delivery process in accordance with company procedures and client requirements
For facilitating the effective identification and management of project risks
For identifying risks that require escalation to other parts of the business
Responsibilities
To ensure understanding and application of all aspects regarding the Company’s Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
To provide a risk management service within a comprehensive project team for either a major project or multi projects
To work with and provide support for colleagues in projects in the delivery of investment appraisal requirements
To work with project managers to support the effective and efficient application of risk management
To work with colleagues throughout the business to share experiences of risk management in the areas of best practice processes, procedures, tools and techniques and mechanisms for their practical application
Reports to Head of Project Controls for day-to-day line management activities
Reports to the Head of PMO and Project Controls
For mentoring assistant risk managers
Advising clients on best practice with regards to Risk management processes and procedures and tools.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Knowledge/Experience
Undertaking all aspects of risk management for the life cycle of a project.
Experience of front-end Project delivery and the design procurement and construction of a variety of facilities including major capital projects (Nuclear), Civil Projects, accommodation, infrastructure, manufacturing, research, and testing facilities in both conventional and hazardous environments
Project Risk Management Process and Principles
Project Management principles
Project services principles covering risk, estimating, planning, cost control, change management, value management
Risk management software particularly ARM,
Fully converse in undertaking both qualitative and quantitative cost and schedule assessments
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken Polish
Skills
Good technical skills including problem solving and decision making
Good oral, written and presentational skills with a particular aptitude for presentation of data for analysis and review
Good team working skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective communication to all levels to both internal and external personnel
Familiarity with standard office software including Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Outlook
A proven ability to manage team members and junior staff is desirable
Competence with proprietary risk software (ideally ARM)
