Citigroup Regulatory Market Risk Analyst in Warsaw, Poland

Team/Role Overview:

The successful Candidate will join the global Finance Team as a Financial Solutions Intermediate Analyst. This is a developing professional role where the Incumbent will apply their analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies, and will be able to break down information in a systematic and communicable manner.

The position requires good communication and diplomacy skills as well as attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information.

What you'll do:

  • Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:

  • Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations

  • Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance

  • Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes

  • Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications

  • Identifies and resolves problems using autonomous judgment.

  • Implements work flow or process change and redesign, and uses a thorough knowledge of the specific function.

  • Accountable for regular reporting or process administration as "owner".

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

What we'll need from you:

  • 2+ years of experience, ideally within the financial services industry.

  • Some knowledge of banking products / systems preferred.

  • Nice to have/not a must : Previous experience with trading book capital: Market Risk, CVA (Credit valuation adjustment), CCR (Cash Conversion Ratio)/ product control /risk management / modeling

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Very good knowledge of English (min. B2 level)

  • Very good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a Team

  • Able to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree
