Citigroup Regulatory & Controls Program Management Lead in Warsaw, Poland

Team/Role overview:
The primary focus of this role will be for Accountability, Culture and Talent (ACT) program for execution of risk-based compliance monitoring, execution of Quality Control and Commitment level lifecycles. This role will involve drafting scoping documents for Consent Order commitments including mapping of milestones and controls for successful Internal Audit validation and downstream closure of Consent Order by Regulators.
What you'll do:
Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.
Assesses creation and signoff of program plan and charter, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log.
Oversees program plans meet business needs as described in the program initiation documents.
Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand the program schedule and key milestones.
Works with Program Sponsor to ensure business case cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives.
Monitors program commitment from those assigning resources.
Escalates program risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, when appropriate. Creates the program risk management plan.
Works with procurement team to create, administer, track, and eventually close program contracts.
Directs area supported through responsibility for delivery of end results and shared responsibility for budget management.
Escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What we'll need from you:
6-10 years of relevant experience
General understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions
Proven experience in regulatory documentation, compliance, or a related field.
Excellent technical writing skills with a focus on clarity and precision for document submissions to Internal Audit and Regulators
Previous experience on documenting closure of MRAs, MRIAs or Consent Order remediation would be a plus.
Experience in working on consent order/ regulatory order would be a great advantage
Candidates with Audit background are very welcome to apply
Commitment to quality and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation; strong organizational skills to manage multiple documents and deadlines.
Articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with well-developed listening skills and ability to garner support and secure buy-in across a wide range of stakeholders
Willingness to occasionally work in non-standard hours with the US-based Team.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
