Jacobs acts as the Technical Advisor to PEJ Sp z.o.o. (PEJ), which is the state-owned entity responsible for delivering Poland’s nuclear power programme. Jacobs role is that of an “Owner’s Engineer”, which is not involved directly in any Nuclear Power Programme (NPP) design or construction activity, but rather acts as an advocate for the Client, applying technical due diligence to all aspects of the process, along with supply chain and contract management support for plant and equipment vendors engaged by the Client. In addition to the PEJ programme, Jacobs has positioned themselves as a key advisor to other developers emerging within the Poland Nuclear Power Programme. The Project Support Administrator works closely with the Project Manager (PM) providing project level administrative support supporting the PM in project execution and coordinates and monitors activities relating to specific projects and project teams. Key responsibilities:

  • Providing support to the Delivery Managers of the project by helping them with a variety of standard business processes / tools and liaising with appropriate internal stakeholders to include:

  • Engaging with Technical Leads to ensure that all stakeholders are aware of the project milestones and deliverables with regards to the implementation of mandatory documentation across the work streams.

  • Working within internal databases managing actions, due dates, extensions and resources to track progress and compliance.

  • Help with the generation of reports to aid the Delivery Managers ahead of key project meetings.

  • Inputting at Progress Meetings in order to drive progress and report accurately to the Delivery Managers and the wider business.

  • Taking charge of all project administration including the generation of minutes and actions list where required.

  • Help with the preparing and presenting of project data.

  • Identifying issues early and help manage actions to resolve on behalf of those being supported.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • 2 years of prior experience as a project administrator or a related administrative role

  • Proficiency in English

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • A degree in engineering, business management, business administration, or a related field is desirable

  • Knowledge of project management principles, practices, and techniques would be an asset
