Citigroup Letter of Credit Analyst in Warsaw, Poland

The Letter of Credit Analyst is responsible for processing and supporting Letter of Credit transactions for EMEA clients, specifically the issuance, confirmation and advising activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that letter of credit transactions are in adherence with client and issuing bank's instructions, UCP600/ISP98, and internal credit, compliance and regulatory procedures

  • Perform timely and accurate processing letter of credit operations in banking systems

  • Identify risk-related issues and report any discrepancies requiring review, discussion and or approval

  • Provide assistance to clients and internal teams on technical aspects and practices of letters of credit

  • Ensure SWIFT messages for letters of credit transactions and related are processed properly

  • Provide cross-training assistance for less experienced staff

  • Participate as a member of trade services project team as required

  • Complete other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)

  • Knowledge of UCP600 and ISP98

  • Knowledge of SWIFT

  • International Trade Operations experience would be an advantage

  • Detail-oriented

  • Team player

  • Good time management skills
