SAP Compliance Officer - Ethical Leadership in Warsaw, Poland

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) is a part of Board area of SAPs Office of the CEO (OCEO), and reports to SAP CEO Christian Klein as well as the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board. Our mission is to advance SAPs business goals by promoting a culture of integrity. OEC focuses on helping SAP to Win the Right Way by providing the guidance and training that enables employees to reject bribery and corruption.

OECs Ethical Leadership team supports leaders across the company that all SAP managers arecompletelycommitted to compliance and behave with integrity, are perceived as ethical and compliant, and hold their teams accountable to do the same.

The Compliance Officer actively manages and executes projects and assessments in cooperation with different stakeholders (e.g. senior management, HR)

  • to enable leaders to be able to fulfill their ethical role (e.g. with communications, training),

  • to support leaders to ensure an ethical culture in their respective organizations (e.g. compliance health check, ethical surveys, consulting), and

  • to measure the success of establishing and sustaining the compliance culture in the leaders area responsibility (e.g. best practices, compliance KPIs).

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelors or masters degree from business or law school or related field

  • Proven highest level of discretion, integrity and confidentiality

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English, particularly with executive briefings

  • Highly structured work approach, quick comprehension, ability to understand and to analyze highly complex topics and interdependencies, meticulous attention to detail and precision

  • Project management expertise and experience

  • Ability to work independently within a team

  • SAP knowledge in SAPs business applications highly desirable

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Manage projects, consulting/coaching, and training activities and conduct assessments at senior management level

  • Provide and follow up on recommendations for improvement possibilities and for consequence management

  • Prepare and present information to senior management at internal and external meetings

  • Develop collaborative work relationships within OEC and across board areas and functions

  • Serve as trusted advisor and functional peer

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least 7 years of experience in relevant position or areas

  • 3 years in a relevant function in the internal control system environment e.g. Legal, Compliance, Audit, Finance
