IQVIA Associate IT Site Support Engineer in Warsaw, Poland

JOB OVERVIEW

Provides operational support for the organization's end user IT equipment such as computers, smartphones, printers (network, personal)

Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades computer systems hardware and software

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide on-site IT support to end users by troubleshooting technical issues with PC hardware and software including computer hardware, peripherals, smartphones, computer operating systems, and office applications

  • Install and configure computer operating systems

  • Modify and upgrade computer hardware

  • Configure and update smartphones

  • Work with external vendors regarding repair of hardware

  • Provide training to end-users when indicated

  • Proper documentation in ticketing system

  • Adhere to established IT policies, procedures and standards and ensure conformance with information systems, goals and procedures

  • Escalate more complex problems to appropriate level of management and provide information on problems that are severe in nature or that are exceeding target dates

  • Perform other duties as required

  • May be required to perform duties outside working hours. This will be managed according to the applicable country legislation.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of Windows and mobile operating systems, Windows 11, Android or iOS

  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Willingness to improve in personal knowledge as it applies to supporting the company’s objectives

  • ITIL awareness or certification would be a plus

  • Exposure to MacBooks and ServiceNow would be a plus

  • Experience in technical support to end users would be a plus
