Marvin Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Warroad, Minnesota

Job Purpose:

In this position you will support Production initiatives and capital projects from the Annual Operating Plan through the use of Engineering principles and Continuous Improvement tools. As a Senior Engineer, you will also be looked upon to help with continuous improvement of Engineering documents, procedures, and best practices.

Essential Functions:

You will focus in one department to help drive improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity amongst that Product Group. Manufacturing Engineers need to manage their time to address urgent matters arising in on any particular day, but also maintain a rolling 12-month plan to stay ahead of future growth and challenges. This role will interact daily with production staff, operations leadership, and other production support departments such as Quality and Maintenance.

Schedule Options:

Office hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm


  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to convey technical topics to a non-technical audience

  • Demonstrated ability to make good use of time and drive for results

  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles, procedures, and technology

  • Ability to participate on, and lead, cross functional teams

  • Ability to mentor others in the use of Engineering principles

  • S. degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Manufacturing

  • 7+ years of experience preferred

  • Project Management experience preferred
