As part of this continued and ambitious growth, we are currently seeking a Director to lead the Environmental Planning project delivery in the Energy sector, specifically in relation to Generation, Transmission & Distribution, and Water Power & Dams. The role can be based anywhere in the UK and we would encourage you to apply regardless of your location.

You will become part of the Energy & Resources Leadership team, working collaboratively with sector leads to achieve growth targets and practice capabilities. You will contribute to the execution of the UK&I Growth Strategy applying expert knowledge of environmental services market drivers and future focused capability development. You will champion innovation collaborating and working directly with other practice leads.

You will act as the key client contact for Generation clients, expanding our offering in this sector beyond Environmental and Planning practices. You will have complete autonomy to grow the team and will proactively work with sector leads, identifying and developing new business opportunities with appropriate clients while building relationships with senior members of client organisations.

About You

You will be a recognised leader in Environmental Consulting practice with a demonstrable record in leadership. You will be committed to collaborative leadership in the core areas of people, wellbeing, safety, business development, governance, and management. You will be highly qualified in both technical and business disciplines and be able to demonstrate active engagement with our industries and markets.

You will be able to thrive working collaboratively in a corporate organisation that is growing organically and acquisitively. You will have experience in collaborating to directly support strategic execution, revenue and profit growth and a demonstrable record in sales growth evidenced by achieving sales targets.

Qualified to degree level, you will also ideally be a member of, and hold an active engagement in a relevant industry body or organisation with a track record of delivering environmental services across multiple sectors. Experience across a range of consenting regimes including s36, T&CPA and DCO is essential.
