Description
Robert Half is seeking a skilled and experienced Purchaser to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the needs of our organization. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining cost-effective procurement practices. This is a 4-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Vendor Management:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to establish and maintain strong relationships.
Negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and terms.
Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers to ensure quality and delivery standards
Prepare, review, and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
Monitor purchase order status and expedite deliveries as needed.
Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to purchase orders.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
