Job Description

A company in Warrenton, VA; Fairfax, VA; and the Pentagon, Washington DC is looking for a TS/SCI Cloud Systems Engineer to join their team in support of a classified program. This Engineer III will demonstrate superb technical competency, deliver mission-critical infrastructure, and ensure the highest levels of availability, performance and security. They will be responsible for managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure, including working with the customer to derive requirements, analyzing and solutioning high-level needs, designing information and operational support systems, maintaining security and availability, and working closely with the customer to provide updates and resolution. This Engineer will work in an integrated team environment with other systems, software and specialty engineers to develop solutions across all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle.

This role will be onsite 4-5 days per week, and the salary range for this position is $160-180k, depending on level of experience and certifications. Skills and Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in Cloud/System Engineering

• Strong background in Linux (RHEL)

• Experience with AWS EC2 and S3 services (architecture development + permissions)

• Docker, Virtualization, Kubernetes, Containerization experience

• Experience in systems-of-systems definition, development, and integration

• Experience with Agile methodology for software development - RHCSA or RHCE certification

• Experience with use cases, performance specification development and UML modeling null
