CGH has an exciting | | opportunity for a seasonedSr. ATM Specialistto join the CGH Team. | | | | Purpose: | | | | Support process analysis to describe and create defined business, IT, | | facilities and operations controls and processes associated with Air | | Traffic Operations Control (ATOC) and JATOC areas. | | | | Responsibilities: | | | | - Air Traffic Operations Assist Support: | | - Provide on-site, and virtual, support for FAA System Operations, | | Terminal, Safety, and Technical Operations personnel working the | | Air Traffic Watch Officer position by providing assistance, | | coaching and tools necessary for Air Traffic Watch Officer | | duties. | | - Schedule and facilitate collaborative messaging meetings with FAA | | Senior Technical Operations Watch Officers and the JATOC General | | Manager. | | - Update and maintain multiple Air Traffic Watch Officer email | | lists, adding new recipients to the lists as requested by FAA | | leadership. | | - Update and maintain an integrated schedule for team members who | | are conducting Air Traffic Watch Officer and Air Traffic Watch | | Officer Assist duties. | | - Develop and publish new Read and Initial articles and memorandums | | regarding FAA senior leadership's direction as it relates to Air | | Traffic Watch Officer duties and messaging. | | - Review the Air Traffic Watch Officer Emergency Notification | | System checklists and make adjustments to scripts based on user | | inputs and direct observations and updated the Emergency | | Notification System notification list with agency personnel | | changes. | | - Audit and update the Read and Initial Binder at the Air Traffic | | Watch Officer desk. | | - Continued d12evelopment and improvement to the twice-daily Air | | Traffic Watch Officer Outlook Briefing distributed to Executive | | Leadership. | | - Provide comprehensive Quality Control audits of Air Traffic Watch | | Officer messages to Executive Leadership. | | - Operational Review and Improvement Support: | | - Attend the virtual JATOC Forum meeting with the JATOC General | | Manager provided to the Directors and Managers of the various | | JATOC Elements. | | - Attend the weekly in person and virtual Air Traffic Watch Officer | | meeting with the JATOC General Manager and Support Team members. | | - Support the JATOC G neral Manager in meetings regarding the | | implementation of the FAA System Operations SkyWatch program. | | - Training Support: | | - Provide the JATOC Crisis Action Team Crisis Response Manager with | | updated modules for inclusion in their new personnel training. | | - Coordinate and conduct Air Traffic Watch Officer for training for | | Air Traffic Watch Officer personnel. | | - Delivery of Leadership training to all JATOC personnel. | | - Other Support: | | - Provide administrative support for the JATOC General Manager and | | the JATOC Crisis Action Team (JCAT) Response Manager. The JCAT | | was re-activated for a resurgence of COVID cases nationwide. | | - Provided the JATOC Crisis Action Team manager with monthly data | | for the Air Traffic Organization Chief of Staff report. | | - Prepared for, participated in, and took notes for the JATOC | | Monthly Forum. | | - Developed JATOC Newsletter articles including providing | | interviews of JATOC Personnel for inclusion. | | - Assist the Air Traffic Watch Officer with setting up SkyWatch | | accounts, various website bookmarks and using the status boards. | | - Participate in the JATOC Development Committee meetings. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Qualifications | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Number of Years Experience Required: | | | | - 10+ years delivering similar support within the aviation | | industry. | | | | Minimum Education and Certifications Required: | | | | - Bachelor's Degree in relevant field. Degree in Aviation, | | Engineering, or Math is preferred. | | | | Technical Skills Required: | | | | Computer Skills: | | | | Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: | | | | - U.S. Citizen or person with valid U.S. Work Visa who has lived in | | the U.S. for three or more years. | | - Must be available for shift work (day, swing, evening) as team | | operates 24x7x365, including holidays. | | - Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills a | | must. | | - Must be highly organized, reliable and have excellent time | | management skills. | | - Must be a team player with a proactive work style. | | - While performing the duties of this job, the individual is | | regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear and use a | | computer/keyboard/mouse for several hours on a daily basis. | | - May require occasional light lifting of up to 10 pounds. | |
