LifePoint Health Massage Therapist - Wellness Center - PRN in Warrenton, Virginia
The Massage Therapist provides quality massage services to clients of Fauquier Health System.
- Assists clients in preparation for treatment, i.e., dressing, positioning, and equipment.
- Assesses clients’ soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion.
- Utilizes complementary aids, i.e., infrared lamps, wet compresses, stones, ice, heat, in order to promote clients’ recovery, relaxation, and well-being.
- Develops and proposes client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are recommended.

Fauquier Health is a 97-bed acute care hospital offering surgical services (including robotics), a 24-hour Emergency Department, extensive medical imaging capabilities, an Intensive Care Unit and much, much more. The Fauquier Health system offers patient care for a variety of specialty services including Orthopedics and Spine, a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and robotic-assisted surgery. The fourth floor of the hospital is devoted to our Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery.

Minimum Education □ High School Diploma X Preferred □ Required
Minimum Work Experience Preferred - 1 to 2 years in healthcare setting.
Required Skills Certifications: X Basic Life Support (BLS)
Required Licenses /Massage Therapist/ Virginia License as a Certified Massage Therapist
