About Cardinal Glennon

At SSM Health Cardinal Glennon, it is more than just a mission – it is a calling.

We would be honored to have you join us in this calling, and we would love to welcome you into our Glennon Family.

The Glennon Care Primary Care Team is an outstanding group of pediatricians, pediatric nurse practitioners, clinical and frontline support team members. We have multiple clinic locations located in Lincoln, Warren and St Louis Counties in Missouri, in addition to Madison County in Illinois. We also have an academic primary care team that is staffed by SSM SLUCare attending providers and residents. These two locations, Danis Main and Danis Midtown, are located on and near the main Cardinal Glennon Academic Medical Center.

Our larger Cardinal Glennon team includes an exceptional network of pediatric specialists and subspecialists comprised of a leading academic medical center, with a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU providing pediatric care to communities throughout Illinois, Missouri and beyond. SSM Health Cardinal Glennon is committed not only to healing children today but finding new ways to help them stay healthy in the future. SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital has also been designated a Magnet® Hospital by ANCC.

Glennon Care Primary Care is further supported by the Cardinal Glennon Access Center. The Access Center is a one-call number allowing quick access to expert care for urgent or emergent Neonatal, Pediatric and Maternal Fetal Medicine service needs. The SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Access Center is staffed 24/7 by specially trained critical care nurses and can be used to:

  • Consult with a specialist

  • Direct admit

  • Emergent transfer

  • Initiate a pediatric or neonatal transport with the SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Neonatal and Pediatric or Maternal Fetal Medicine Transport Team

Your primary care leadership team is driven by the concept of servant leadership. A servant-leader focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong. While traditional leadership generally involves the accumulation and exercise of power by one at the “top of the pyramid,” servant leadership is different. The servant-leader shares power, puts the needs of others first, and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible. It is in this service that your leadership team is committed to providing you a rewarding and positive professional experience.
