As the Procurement Operations Analyst reporting to the Sr. Director of Procurement, you'll need to have a minimum of 4+ years of applicable experience. The primary function of this position is to support the team with a variety of reporting and other tasks for the Purchasing business system (Microsoft D365).  You possess the skills to identify and define process improvements and lead the change process inside and outside of the procurement organization (both internal customers and external suppliers).

Excellent computer skills including MS Office, Microsoft BI and SharePoint with advanced expertise with MS Excel and Microsoft Power BI required. Experience in the configuration and use of ERP Procurement Systems, preferably Microsoft D365.

Responsibilities: Technical skill requirements:  * Obtain data from multiple disparate systems and combine for analysis.  * Utilize SQL and database knowledge to write and execute simple SQL queries for data retrieval, analysis, and reporting purposes, supporting customer needs and internal data management requirements, specifically supplier price lists.  * Designing and building Power BI dashboards/reports.  * Exporting selected pricing from database to import into D365 trade and purchasing agreements.

Competencies:  * Conduct thorough analysis of procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategic sourcing initiatives.  * Conduct thorough analysis of product inventory such as cycle counting, Min/Max, aged inventory to provide business reporting and to identify opportunities for improvement.  * Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts, processes, and applications combined with strong oral and written communication skill.  * Conduct system integrations with third-party vendor systems, utilizing APIs and other integration tools to facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability.

Become the subject matter expert on the procurement and inventory management functionality and configuration in Microsoft Dynamics 365 by:  * Working with IT to understand the configuration parameters of D365.  * Developing and maintaining training materials for procurement and inventory  * Providing training for new users of the procurement and inventory modules  * Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the Procurement organization.
