Haleon Sr. Customer Strategy Manager, Sensodyne/Pronamel in Warren, New Jersey

The Snr Manager Customer Strategy & Planning translates the vision and strategy of HALEON’s categories and brands into an actionable set of customer specific priorities (e.g., distribution objectives, pricing goals, trade funding tactics and effectiveness, merchandising objectives). In addition, the Senior Manager Customer Strategy & Planning takes customer specific learnings and helps the Brand team continuously improve strategies and marketing activation plans.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Translates Brand Objectives, Strategies and activation plans into sales priorities and goals by Account

  • Supports Retailer Account Teams in activating and delivering against sales objectives and priorities

  • Aids in the development of Customer-specific promotional activities to drive sales deliverables and objectives

  • Ensures seamless integration of digital commerce into the go to market customer strategies

  • Promote discussions and updates on key Brand priorities through both 1:1 and group overviews

  • Optimize development & allocation of budget amounts and ROI for specific trade promotion fund amounts, Drives Net Revenue Management initiatives

  • Assist with Customer Performance reviews, insights on Trade events and supply / inventory challenges

  • Lead and facilitate annual Customer planning and delivery to meet identified timelines and requirements

  • Liaise between Sales & Marketing to capture learnings that helps the Brand team continuously improve strategies and marketing activation plans

  • Drive alignment on business situations throughout the organization to include supply, Customer service, Sales Operations, Marketing and Sales on unique Customer and overall Brand initiatives.

  • Responsible for the Management of the Trade Promotion Manager

Why you?

Basic Qualifications :

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years’ experience in a related commercial role such as (but not limited to) Customer Strategy, Trade Marketing or Customer facing sales role

  • Experience interpreting data and leveraging insights to build and execute category/brand trade strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Exceptional knowledge of Retail customers and the marketplace, with customer facing experience

  • Strong background in developing sales strategies, account management, and support processes & systems (e.g., sales reporting, syndicated data, etc.)

  • Excellent financial management skills including brand P&Ls, ROI, and budget management

  • Robust analytical capabilities with ability to translate into action-minded strategies

  • Experience leading others and working collaboratively within a team environment

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment with ability to juggle multiple demands and priorities

  • Excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills; proven ability to balance multiple critical tasks and consistently delivering against hard deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others both directly and indirectly

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills

  • Sharp analytical skills / data analysis capabilities

  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to engage at the Executive level

  • Building strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships internally and externally

  • Developing people and building a future talent pipeline

The salary range for this role is $140,529 - $193,228 USD + Bonus.
