CFC Sales Leader

What does a great CFC Leader do at Fiserv?

As a CFC (Cash Flow Central) Leader at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in building strategic relationships with executive leaders within our current clients and prospective clients. Your main responsibility will be to drive successful sales attainment of the Cash Flow Central product line. In order to excel in this role, you must have a consistent track record leading a direct selling team, driving complex solutions sales, and achieving revenue growth. Your leadership skills will be crucial in aligning prospects' visions and requirements with our solutions portfolio to deliver differentiated customer value. This position will require overseeing an organization in a heavily matrixed selling environment with strategic market segments.

What you will do:

  • Provide vision and management in delivering sales strategies and tactics to expand the pipeline and close business.

  • Actively coach, lead, and assess talent to build a high-performing team that meets performance expectations, adheres to the company's philosophy, mission, and strategic goals.

  • Execute sales plans, assign accounts and territories, and set sales quotas for the sales staff, ensuring these quotas are met.

  • Mentor and collaborate with key external and internal stakeholders, including executive leaders, relationship managers, technical buyers, BU leadership, Product SMEs, Finance, and legal partners.

  • Nurture and maintain C-level relationships with current clients and prospects.

  • Remain knowledgeable about market industry trends, competitors, and sales effectiveness strategies, in order to define and execute sales strategies and tactics to increase add-on revenue.

  • Lead, develop, motivate, and mentor the sales staff.

  • Actively manage sales staff through all phases of the sales lifecycle to meet targets and build the pipeline, including lead generation, value proposition development, client meetings, deal structuring, contract negotiations, and closing.

  • Drive Fiserv sales standards and framework within the sales team.

  • Monitor metrics to manage the business, including financial forecasts, win/loss reviews, pipeline analysis, and ensure accurate eCRM data.

What you will need to have:

  • 12+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience

  • 12-15 years of solution selling experience.

  • Sales management experience with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.

  • Experience in selling/leading in the Financial Institution space.

What would be great to have:

  • Strategic sales planning and implementation skills.

  • Experience in building new logo pipelines.

  • Strong deal structuring and negotiation abilities.

  • Proficiency in sales performance management.

  • Knowledge management expertise.

  • Financial management skills.

  • Coaching, mentoring, and training experience within sales organizations.

  • Effective resource management capabilities.

  • Familiarity with selling complex, multi-year, or multi-service contracts.
