Waltonen Tooling Processor in Warren, Michigan
Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Tooling Processor to join our team!
Responsibilities
Contribute to the overall completion of important and complex engineering tasks and projects
Support major and minor engineering projects within a specified area of administrative and technical guidance to a group of employees
Develop product sequence sheets (flow charts)
Maintain and/or create time studies (operator and machine)
Process with ergonomics in mind for operator stations
Coordinate needed support resources to achieve project objectives
Timing and Weld Documentation
Assure necessary coordination between supporting design groups, regulatory functions and internal activities on a regular basis
Prepare general specifications
Support, coordinate, and execute all quality initiatives
Meet all customer requirements, specifications, and requests
Suggest and support all continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
1-2+ years of relevant experience
Siemens UG / NX Skills – navigation and observation
Light or heavy automotive body in white (BIW) engineering experience
Strong organizational and planning skills
High attention to detail
Ability to follow structured processes and procedures
Strong written and face-to-face communication skills in large and small teams
Preferred Qualifications
Siemens Process Designer / eM-Planner
GM standard deliverables (STDS, WESS, SPD, XRWD’s)
Peripheral automotive BIW departments and their deliverables
