System Design Engineer - Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Warren, MI, General Motors. Design and develop technical requirements, engineer and release Super Cruise and Ultra Cruise autonomous driving features in ADAS Compute Platforms (ACP3 & ACP4) in Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) and Virtual Cockpit Unit (VCU), including Lane Assist, Unavailable Reasons, Host and Actor Positions, using IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation (DNG), IBM Rational Rhapsody, Jira and Jama tools, in ICE passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). Set technical objectives and platform regression testing strategies to verify implementation of production intent software to meet vehicle specific architecture, system, security, safety and encoding requirements for Human Machine Interface (HMI), Driver Monitoring System (DMS), Feature Monitoring System (FMS), and Publish Subscribe (PubSub), in Embedded C and QNX programming languages, in Linux operating system, using Jenkins, Jira, CANoe, and DOORS tools, following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Analyze and debug Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and Data Identifiers (DIDs) over Controller Area Network (CAN), Local Interconnect Network (LIN) bus, and Automotive Ethernet communication protocols. Master, Electrical Engineering or related. Twelve months' experience as Engineer, designing and developing technical requirements for ADAS or propulsion system in Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), using IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation (DNG), and Jira tools, or related.
