About the role:
Control System Integrators is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our busy team.
Responsibilities:
- Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and visually inspect condition for quality (damage or discrepancies)
- Scanning, counting, logging and inspecting all goods entering the shop. Confirming the accuracy of incoming freight
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers using a hi-lo or manually
- Stacking of goods and empty pallets
- Resolve all inconsistencies on goods received
- Report errors/discrepancies to management
- Organize and maintain space to optimize storage efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and communicate low stock or replenishment needs to appropriate personnel
- Coordinate material flow to support manufacturing.
- Ensure that received goods are properly labeled, tagged, and stored in designated locations
- Record all received materials and distribute related documents to appropriate departments
- Experience with NetSuite preferred or other shipping and receiving software
- Perform daily equipment inspections of forklifts and maintain work vehicles
- Stacking of goods, empty pallets, loading and unloading semi-trucks
