Staff Source is seeking a Machine Builder for their Global machine tool supplier facility located in Livonia, MI. This is a temp to hire first shift position. 60 working days required prior to hire in process. Amazing full benefit package once hired in including 75% Insurance paid by company.

Responsibilities of Machine Builder:

• Review Build of Materials (BOM's), mechanical drawings and computer models.
• Responsible to assemble manual for automatic assembly and inspection systems.
• Identify and troubleshot mechanical issues with equipment.
• Must be able to test and debug automated equipment.
• Support installation activities at Customer facilities as necessary.
• Other related duties as assigned by Plant Manager

Requirements of Machine Builder:

• Hands on experience in assembly, setup, test, and debug of equipment.
• Blueprint and computer model reading skills preferred. Experienced with basic power and hand tools.
• GD&T understanding and experience preferred. Understand basic mathematics (arithmetic, multiplication, and division), the difference between standard and metric measuring systems (with the ability to use either) and be able to use fractions or decimal references
• Have organization skills and ability to start and stop multiple tasks
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to follow directions.
• Experience in gaging, automation, and assembly systems Hand gages and layout experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and stand for the majority of the day
• Must be computer literate - proficient with MS Office Keeps equipment and working area clean, orderly, and safe.
• Performs miscellaneous duties and participates in training as assigned by a supervisor.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
