Responsibilities Evaluates Logistic status/readiness of assigned system(s) and takes corrective action for existing or foreseen problems. Analyze reports from databases and automated systems to conduct assessments and provide a complete and accurate picture of current operations. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Analyzing logistics data for preparation of long and short range mission support plans for unit/equipment readiness; AND (2) Utilizing automated systems such as Global Combat Support System (GCSS-Army), and/or Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to conduct logistical assessments of Army units; AND (3) Maintaining as a liaison with customers to resolve problems in a timely manner; AND (4) preparing correspondences to brief senior higher ranking officials. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Maintenance Planning and Management Manpower & Personnel Supply Support Technical Data Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level two (2) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Position is designated non-critical sensitive as defined in DoD 5200.2 This requires that a personnel security investigation be adjudicated on a pre-appointment basis which may take up to 90 days or longer to process. The selectee may be allowed to start work prior to adjudication if management approved. Obtaining and maintaining a secret security clearance is a condition of employment. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
