Job Description Summary Responsible for plant cleanliness and food safety. Ensures Processing/Packaging equipment & surrounding areas are kept in a clean, sanitary & safe condition at all times. Job Description * Cleans and sanitizes all areas in a safe, timely and skilled manner to meet Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures. * Understands, utilizes, and follows all SSOP's. * Follow LO/TO procedures at all times. * Must be able to work in hot or cold environments. * Must be able to effectively communicate in English both in written and oral form. * Must work safely at all times. * Must behave in a professional manner at all times. * Performs other functions as directed by Sanitation Team Lead, Sanitation Specialist, Sanitation Lead or Team Leads. Basic & Preferred Qualifications * Maintain a good attendance record * Communicate well in the English language both in written and oral form * Work in extreme environments -- wet, cold, dry, steam, etc. * Work with hazardous, corrosive chemicals * Work all shifts * Lift up to 50 lbs. * Stand for long periods of time * Climb stairs and ladders * Work safely at all times * Work independently with little or no supervision. * Be responsible for following company policies and procedures.
