As a member of the Biosciences Commercial Finance team, this Sr. Financial analyst plays a key role in driving forward the growth and profitability of the business. This Sr. Financial Analyst role will be a lead business partner providing strategic financial support including forecasting, revenue analytics, and reporting for the North America Commercial team. This includes trend analysis, detailed risk and opportunity insight and KPI management, monthly reporting and bi-weekly forecasting, and market analytics. This position will work closely with finance and Commercial leadership to support and enhance key customer reporting requirements as well as partner with the team to help achieve financial commitments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the revenue forecasting process with Commercial Business Partners to identify risk and opportunities to ensure top line commitments are met

  • Assist with the preparation of regular business reviews and drive key operating mechanisms within the strategic territory

  • Liaison with Group and regional commercial finance teams and Division Consolidation / BU / Ops finance to drive alignment and execution

  • Support annual planning process for the commercial territory as well as support the quota setting process

  • Work closely with commercial, operations, and the business to identify areas to accelerate growth and drive productivity

  • Drive a continuous improvement approach with a focus on automation, enhancing processes, and elevating business partner support where applicable

  • Support Ad-hoc internal, Group, and Corporate requests as needed

Requirements:

  • BS or BA in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 5+ Years related work experience

  • Excel Super User with advanced knowledge of pivots, charts, and formulas

  • Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with peers, and upper management

  • Demonstrate mental awareness, flexibility, and adaptability to accommodate and balance needs / competing interests of groups within the organization (Regions, Divisions, Global Operations)

  • Self-motivated; bias for action

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of Sales Force, Nexus, Hyperion Planning, and EDW a plus
