Robert Half HR Coordinator in Walnut Creek, California

Description

Non-profit client is seeking an HR Coordinator for a contract position anticipated to last 4-6 months. This position is 100% remote and expected to work core hours aligned with the Pacific time zone.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be skilled in leveraging data to extract insights and tell a story, have a passion for building processes, policies, and programs, and have strong verbal and written communication capabilities. This position requires a strong forward lean, hunger, and horsepower to deliver high-quality work while juggling competing priorities in an evolving landscape.

Duties Include:

• Pulling, monitoring and analyzing metrics for initiatives and solutions, and making recommendations to drive improvements to enhance value and sustainability

• Providing tactical and delivery support to key People & Strategy initiatives to foster a healthy, positive culture, in a well-managed and intentional way

• Serving as a key thought partner and project manager on emerging initiatives across our portfolio

• Leading ad hoc analyses to meet senior business leader needs quickly and efficiently

• Managing and performing on HR-related process or programs, investigates and make recommendations and decisions in gray space, initiate program/process improvements to mitigate risks and optimize delivery

• Developing programs and routines that ensure connectivity and visibility across the portfolio, including Monthly Dashboards, ticket review and assignment, large team meeting agendas and content, and team investments

Requirements • Possess strong communication skills for effective interaction with various departments and levels within the organization

• Proficient in data management, able to accurately record, update and track data in various systems

• Demonstrated experience in project management, capable of coordinating and overseeing multiple tasks simultaneously

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for creating reports, presentations, and data analysis

• Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) for maintaining and updating employee records

• Able to understand and interpret HR policies and procedures

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience in HR roles.
