Description

We are on the search for a diligent Contracts Analyst to join a growing legal team and company. In this role, you will primarily be tasked with overseeing contracts, conducting comprehensive contract reviews, collaborating with various departments for compliance assurance, and responding to questions related to contract interpretation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and editing of contracts and amendments

• Conduct a thorough review of contracts, taking into account legal provisions, statutes, and internal policies

• Engage with relevant departments and committees to ensure adherence to requirements in proposals, contracts, NDAs, etc.

• Handle queries regarding the interpretation, requirements, terms, and limitations of contracts and legal agreements

• Negotiate contract provisions with clients or subconsultants when necessary

• Undertake research to confirm the conformance of proposed contracts with public contract, government, labor codes, etc. for recommendations of proper compliance

• Participate in detail oriented development events such as trainings and workshops to keep abreast of current knowledge and trends related to assigned duties

• Collaborate with the Risk Management Services team in research and updates, as required

• Manage confidential correspondence to and from the Risk Management Services in a detail oriented manner

• Assist in the research and preparation of specification provisions for construction documents

• Review specifications for updates needed due to legal changes

• Prepare correspondence, reports, and agreements as directed

• Conduct research on company legal issues including corporate law, qualification to do business in various jurisdictions (domestic and foreign), and miscellaneous matters

• Research foreign countries’ entry requirements for employees traveling abroad on business (visas, etc.)

• Prepare or oversee state-by-state business and company detail oriented filings.

Requirements • Proficiency in Contract Management, with the ability to oversee multiple contracts concurrently.

• Demonstrable experience in handling Subcontract Agreements, ensuring all agreements are in alignment with overarching contracts.

• Ability to Negotiate Contracts, balancing the interests of all parties and securing optimal terms.

• Expertise in Drafting Contracts, producing clear and legally sound documents.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex contractual language and identify potential risks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented approach, ensuring all contractual obligations and deadlines are met.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law or a related field is desired.

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the same industry.

• Proficiency in using contract management software and other relevant IT tools.
