One of our clients in the Walnut Creek area is looking for a Bookkeeper for a contract to permanent placement opportunity.

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements

• Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets

• Process payroll and ensure timely payment of taxes

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

• Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders regarding financial matters

  Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with a minimum of 3 years of experience

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
