People * Customers * Trust We are currently seeking resumes for Machine Lubrication Technician- Oilers (1-Opening) at our Wallula, WA facility. Description of role: The Machinery Lubrication Technician-Oiler position is a member of the preventative group within our maintenance department. The MLT -Oiler will work a Monday through Friday 8-hour day work schedule. Pay and Benefits: The hourly rate for the Machine Lubrication Technician- Oilers position ranges from $34.11/hr-$45.74/hr DOE Employees (and their dependents) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, basic life, and disability insurance coverage, subject to applicable waiting periods. Employees are automatically enrolled in PCA's 401k retirement plan at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for 40 hours of vacation after one (1) year of service and between 0 and 36 hours of vacation during their first year. Employees also receive nine (9) paid holidays and up to five (5) paid floating holidays per calendar year. This is a union environment. Employees will receive all of the rights and benefits associated with union membership when they join our mill facility. Principle Accountabilities: Position is responsible for equipment lubrication, contamination control, inspections and proactive maintenance activities for all lubricated mechanical systems. Basic Qualifications: Capability to read and interpret technical documents, such as: OEM Maintenance plans, blue prints, advanced lubrication technology instruction and recommendations. Capable to perform basic mathematical functions for the purpose of interpreting alarms, calculating lubricant inventory and calculating re-lubrication quantity considerations. Capable to operate moderately complex software and web based programs for lubrication scheduling and oil analysis functions. Understanding of fundamental lubrication concerts and application of these concerts such as Viscosity, NLGI#'s V.I., AW, EP, R&O, ISO cleanliness codes, Beta Filter ratings. Have a strong fundamental understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and circulating systems operation, and contamination control and maintenance functions. Qualified to operate lifting equipment (fork truck, skip hoist etc.) Good oral and written communications skills Capable to work in an unsupervised position effectively Should be qualified to perform lockout-tag-out procedures All candidates will be required to pass the company's standardized aptitude test for final consideration. This position is not eligible for relocation benefits. Minimum of two years of lubrication -related experience. Must have good interpersonal skills, good planning and organizing skills, and a high degree of self-motivation.
