The selected candidate will:

Setup mission events utilizing a daily site element schedule

Coordinate the check-out and installation of computer programs and electronic data

Energize and initialize computers and combat system elements

Establish interface switch paths

Perform system checkout, and other site preparations necessary to ensure the readiness of the requested systems and equipment to support a successful mission event

Perform systematic take down at the completion of the mission event

Prepare and initiate comprehensive mission operations reports

Coordinate system level troubleshooting efforts

Function as the primary technical point of contact for SCSC mission customers

Promptly report to the Government the status of mission events, systems and equipment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Education and years of related/relevant skills required: High School/GED and at least 10 years experience on-board an SSDS Platform, with a minimum of four years (may be concurrent) leading a team of technical/tactical operators engaged in the employment of Surface Weapon Systems in the support of Surface, Subsurface, Air, Strike, C4I, and Ballistic Missile Defense warfare areas as part of the Combat Systems Training Team (CSTT).

Also required:

Three years Technical experience, specifically on SSDS Mk 1 and SSDS Mk 2 (all mods) combat systems, responsible for the Combat System Maintenance Manager organization and with the technical knowledge to bring combat systems up from cold iron status to support testing.

Security clearance requirement: This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance. Selected candidate will receive a contingent offer with a delayed start date until an interim Secret clearance is granted.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Highly desired, but not required:

Active DoD security clearance

Experience in an RDT&E environment

Knowledge and experience with ACCESS and TRMS

Four years as an SSDS CSMM or CSSE

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $56200 - $95500

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
