"Job#: 2045892 Job Description: Apex Systems is a world class technology services business that incorporates industry insights and experience to deliver solutions that fulfill our clients' digital visions.Position: Wireless Network Transport EngineerLocation: Hybrid onsite (2 days/week) in Medway, MARate: Negotiable Based on ExperienceDuration: 12+ Months; Strong potential for extensionPosition Description:Our client is seeking a Wireless Network Transport Engineer that will focus on the configuration and documentation of Ethernet backhaul routers and switches for wireless fronthaul and backhaul.Experience with Nokia router is highly preferred.Requirements:Previous experience as a Transport or WAN network engineer, working on wireless backhaul network.Advanced knowledge of routing and switching hardware/software. Experience with Nokia products such IXR-E, IXR-S, WBX, 7750 preferred.Expert knowledge of IPv6.Strong IP Knowledge, subnetting, routing protocol, MPLS, includes CLI interface hands-on.Previous experience using Granite/XNG/CND or other circuit/path inventory system.Knowledge of Nokia router translations tools (e.g., Service Portal).Advanced experience with Granite/XNG/CND.Desired Skills:Nokia Certifications (SRA, MRP).CISCO Certifications (CCNA, CCIP, CCIE).Experience working with DWDM optical systems including Ciena 6500 and Fujitsu 9500.CDMA and LTE.Transport test equipment experience including JDSU and EXPO spectrum analyzers and path analyzers (OTDR).Additional Benefits:For this opportunity, you will also be eligible for benefits through Apex for the contract period, 401K, medical/health benefits options, a W2 hourly rate, weekly pay, and direct deposit!EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
