Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in Wallingford, Connecticut. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in our team, overseeing recruitment, employee benefits, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This role is integral to promoting diversity and inclusion, resolving employee issues, and enhancing our organizational culture.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs

• Act as the primary contact for workers compensation and unemployment

• Facilitate recruitment, selection, and promotions within the company

• Maintain and submit EEOC data to the Bureau of Statistics

• Ensure the objectives of the human resource division are met

• Oversee training programs and ensure adherence to state, federal, and funding requirements

• Address employee issues in a timely manner in accordance with company policy

• Handle complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions

• Develop and implement HR programs related to employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, and organizational culture

• Manage the adherence to Safety Committee guidelines and regulations.

Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is required.

• Familiarity and experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.

• Expertise in using Ceridian software.

• Must possess in-depth understanding of HCM (Human Capital Management).

• Demonstrated experience with Benefit Functions.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential.

• Should be well versed with compliance standards and regulations in HR.

• Proven track record in managing and improving employee relations.

• Experience in refining and implementing hiring processes.
