Job Title: Facilities Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Electrician with expertise in both troubleshooting/repair of existing equipment and new commercial/industrial wiring installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various electrical systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair existing equipment.

• Install new commercial and industrial wiring systems.

• Work with 3 Phase Motors, Motor starters, and VFD Drives operating at 480VAC.

• Understand and apply knowledge of Motor Control Circuitry and PLC / Relay logic controllers.

• Handle Solid state devices and Instrumentation wiring.

• Manage 3 Phase 480-volt Distribution systems, Panel boards, and hard-wired Fused Disconnects.

• Install EMT Conduit up to 2”.

• Perform installations of lighting and branch appliance circuits.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of 3 Phase Motors, Motor starters, and VFD Drives at 480VAC.

• Understanding of Motor Control Circuitry and PLC / Relay logic controllers.

• Familiarity with Solid state devices and Instrumentation wiring.

• Experience with 3 Phase 480-volt Distribution systems and panel boards.

• Proficiency in EMT Conduit installations up to 2”.

• Ability to install lighting and branch appliance circuits.

• Skill in electrical work, facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, wiring, repair, and maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of PPE (Personal protective equipment).

• Understanding of Fall protection standards.

• Familiarity with Arc Flash safety measures.

• Knowledge of Lockout Tag Out procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Wallingford, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $79040.00
