What you`ll do

Summary

As a Product Security Expert / Senior Security Specialist (f/m/d) in our Datasphere Engineering Services team, you work in an innovative cloud environment. You are part of an agile team alongside experienced colleagues and early talents. You will contribute to making Datasphere a secure cloud offering.

The Role

You will support developers and development managers in all stages of the development cycle regarding security topics. You will advise, review, and sign-off new feature development from a security perspective, conduct threat modeling workshops and take care of security compliance for the entire product.You will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders and customers and to collaborate with members from other teams working on application that integrate with Datasphere.

What you bring

• Strong security background, preferably also in a cloud environment. CCSP certification or SAP-internal Seculum or similar

• 5 years of professionalwork experience, preferably in a security context

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Experience in Web / Container technologies (Kubernetes, JavaScript, Node.js, or TypeScript)

• Outstanding communication skills in English, German skills are a plus
