ABOUT THE TEAM

The Public Cloud ERP Delivery Team supports the digital transformation of our customers and is an important part of SAP Customer Success. We are trusted advisers for our customers here in the region and strive for sustainable customer success. YOUR FUTURE ROLE

The Project Manager (f/m/d) is responsible for the successful delivery of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud projects and needs to be a trusted partner for our customers as well as for our internal S/4HANA Cloud delivery teams. To achieve this, the Project Manager (f/m/d) drives the outcomes of the project as defined in the relevant contractual documents (typically in terms of scope, quality, schedule and budget) and follows the SAP Activate methodology.

The role consists also of participation during the Bid Phase of the customer engagement by providing input into the proposal especially in the areas of project structure, organization, scoping, effort estimation and risk assessment. Being a team player and knowledge sharing with peers is an essential part of the SAP culture.

Opportunity Management

• Assist with defining the project scope, time schedule resourcing and risk assessment

• Understand and assess dependencies (e.g. integration, migration or extensibility),

• Ensure appropriate Public Cloud methodologies are incorporated, including usage of SAP accelerators

• Contribute to Project Proposal Reviews conducted by the Customer

Delivery

Ensure effective execution of S/4HANA Cloud Project management activities (planning, monitoring and controlling), including:

• Project planning: WBS, deliverables, dependencies, owners, due dates, links to other related plans

• Scope management

• Project resource planning and management

• Project financial planning and management

• Manage the Project deliverable reviews and approval processes

• Work closely with the Project Sponsors and Project Review Boards to facilitate timely decisions necessary for Project delivery

• Work closely with the Public Cloud delivery organization and stakeholder

Governance & Reporting

• Comply with SAP internal financial follow up for projects

• Progress reporting at regular intervals

• Build trusting and efficient working relationship with Customer and 3rd party stakeholders

• Ensure Public Cloud governance forums are operationalized and recorded as per governance model

Coaching and Mentoring

• Coach to clarify assignments and deliverables to project team

• Review quality of work and manage integration of team members work

• Provide performance input to project team members functional management

Knowledge Management

• Maintain project documentation and updates to relevant knowledge management bases; analyse lessons learned and share with the organizations project management community

• Participate in the development of project management best practices

YOUR PROFILE

• Masters degree, preferably in commerce, engineering, information technologies or MBA an asset

• 6 years of project management experience

• Profound knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA implementations gained as Consultant (Public Cloud knowledge preferred);

• Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as, project charter, project management plan, status reports, project timesheets, communications plan, budget and schedule

• Demonstrated experience in managing issues, scope and quality while bring projects to successful completion within the cost and time requirements

• Team Player with excellent communication skills

• Eager to learn and share knowledge

• Business-fluencyin German and English
