SAP Policy Management Officer for the Compliance Culture Program Office (f/m/d) in Walldorf, Germany

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

The Compliance Culture Program Office (CCPO) is a part of the Global Field Compliance organization within the Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC), and is responsible for three key areas:

OEC Global Policy Coordination Office: This office guides and supports policy owners and managers, as well as members of the Global Policy Advisory Committee (GPAC), in creating and maintaining policies. The office is also responsible for regularly updating SAPs Global Code of Ethics & Business Conduct.

OEC Ethical Leadership: This area supports SAPs leaders in role-modeling ethical behavior, setting a strong and clear tone at the top, and driving compliant actions throughout the organization.

OEC Learning: This team is responsible for developing and distributing risk-based eLearnings, as well as overseeing the annual CoEBC certification and targeted live training, with the goal of achieving 100% completion.

The Compliance Culture Program Office is seeking a Policy Management Officer to assist in managing and consistently updating SAPs Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, along with all associated compliance policies and procedures.

We are looking for a strong team player to support the following main responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain SAPs Policy Management System.

  • Ensure quality assurance in the creation and update of respective policies, as well as conduct reviews of SAPs codes of conduct and global policies.

  • Consult with policy owners and business stakeholders on the SAP policy process and policy content.

  • Support auditing processes and ensure implementation of audit requirements and controls as they relate to implementing policies and procedures.

  • Support record management and generate policy management statistics.

  • Liaise with the Global Policy Advisory Committee (GPAC), and prepare documentation for policy review as well as orchestrate the approval process.

  • Assist with projects, research, and data management.

  • Seek ways to ever-improve and positively influence policy content, delivery and management processes.

  • Develop and launch the new policy management tool.

  • Support the broader Field Compliance team on an ad-hoc basis, in the spirit of One Team.

  • Use own initiative to inspire policy adoption with creative approaches, as well as improve processes and drive efficiency.

YOUR PROFILE

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience in policy management.

  • Bachelors or masters degree from a law or business school, or related field.

  • Background in compliance, auditing, and controls testing preferred.

  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with (new) legal topics, e.g.FCPA, the UK Bribery Act, and relevant bribery, corruption, and fraud laws.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, and ideally in German and/or French.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including with senior executives, and experience dealing with social partner processes.

  • Strong organization and time management skills, with keen attention to quality and detail, especially when proof-reading for legal accuracy and semantic clarity.

  • Previous experience in engaging employees in policy adoption within a global organization preferred.

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, adept at processing complex topics and articulating them clearly.

  • A self-starting ideas person, adaptable, creative, and able to drive projects to successful completion.

  • Strong team player with a proactive approach to customer support.

  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools; familiarity with SAP systems is preferred.

  • Ability to stay curious and thrive in an agile and fast-paced work environment.

The Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) is dedicated to upholding ethical standards and ensuring compliance within SAP, with a mission to "Win the Right Way." Reporting to both the CEO and the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board, OEC works to advance SAP's business objectives by fostering a culture of integrity and minimizing legal risks. OEC is responsible for managing SAP's Compliance program related to Corruption, Bribery, and significant Fraud, as well as supporting various compliance initiatives including the SAP Global Code of Ethics & Business Conduct (CoEBC), compliance policies and procedures, training, and global governance documentation.
