What youll do

As an IT Security Senior Consultant (In-House) (f/m/d), you will support our organization in making security part of everyday business - through consulting services, awareness measures and hands-on support.

• You will advise our IT and operations teams from a security point of view on the realization of internal IT projects and support them in implementing security measures and controls for on-premise and cloud technologies.

• You will develop security trainings and educate employees in new security technologies, best practices and potential security risks.

• As part of the internal reporting processes, you act as an interface, not only processing data and insights from Vulnerability & Attack Surface Management, but also leveraging them to derive well-founded decision templates and security recommendations for the organization.

• You can provide support in security operations, for example in the assessment and remediation of vulnerabilities.

• You will be involved in the development and implementation of information security policies and procedures.

• In the future, you will support us in making it easier for our customers to use our services securely, e.g. by developing guides or presentations.

What you bring

• Strong experience in an IT security role, preferably but not necessarily in consulting.

• Deep understanding of security technologies and strategies for both on-premise and cloud systems.

• Very good communication skills in English and German and strong project management skills including task prioritization and effective coordination.

• The ability to prepare and convey complex security topics to a non-technical audience.

• Sound knowledge of regulatory standards such as IT Grundschutz

• Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics as well as a good understanding of current topics in the field of IT security and joy in keeping your finger on the pulse here.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and concepts

• In-depth knowledge of IT and operations topics such as networks, hardening and configuration of endpoints, software development and operation.

• Ideally hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys
