ABOUT THE TEAM:

Investor Relations plays a pivotal role in proactively managing the flow of information out of SAP into the financial community and enhancing SAPs profile to institutional and private investors. In addition, Investor Relations provides strategic consulting in all capital market related areas to senior management and is responsible for the organization of key events such as the Annual Meeting of Shareholders. The team is mainly located at the Companys headquarters in Walldorf, Germany.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Investor Relations Associate will be part of a strong international team and will develop effective relationships with the investment community. The individual will play a critical role in the teams overall communications strategy to the financial market, with particular focus on the Annual Meeting of Shareholders and other strategic events.

Specific responsibilities of the Investor Relations Associate include:

  • Supporting the Investor Relations team with key events, in particular the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and other internal and external events

  • Quality assurance of documents

  • Maintaining up-to-date project status in tools

  • Handling of inquiries from stakeholders and ensuring alignment of key internal and external stakeholders

  • Develop executive briefings for Investor Relations roadshows and meetings

  • Ensuring updates on SAPs website and other digital channels

  • Additional supportive tasks for the Investor Relations team

YEAR ONE CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:

  • Earn the trust, confidence, and respect of the senior colleagues in finance, communications, strategy by listening, learning, and building relationships within SAP.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work at both the strategic and tactical levels and contribute significantly right away

  • Understand the strategic context of organizational tasks associated with major projects (such as AGM)

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelors degree required; masters degree preferred. Focus should be on: Business administration, finance, communications or related fields

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project

  • Experience in organizing complex projects and events

  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skill in German and English

  • Soft skills: Good communications skills, customer service orientation

  • Confident, self-motivated, and collaborative style complemented with strong relationship building skills.

  • Attention to detail

  • Must be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work performed.

  • Well organized with ability bring projects through to completion.
