He or she will develop back-end components, connect the application to other web services and assist front-end developers to ensure integration with the application. Job Category: Entry to senior level positions available. Work locations: In office, remote, hybrid schedules available. Salary Range: $60,000 - $200,000 commensurate with experience and education. Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for writing structured, clean, reusable, and testable code using Python. Will implement well-designed, high-performance applications for the server-side. Integrate user-facing components built by front-end developers with back-end logic. Implement the most recent security and data protection procedures. Remain up to date on the latest software changes and adapt programming to them. Qualifications & Experience A bachelors degree in computer science is preferable. Excellent knowledge of Python and the Django Framework. Excellent knowledge of Python test framework tools such as PyTest, PyUnit, Behave, etc. Excellent knowledge of Restful Web Services. Experience working with relational databases. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must function well under deadline pressure. Must be detail oriented.
