New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, is currently seeking an Electrician in the Wall, NJ office. Duties consist of installation and troubleshooting of generators, RTU’s, ROV’s, transmitters / electronics, natural gas heaters, commercial wiring in and around gas transmission stations. All phases of electric 480/277V, 240/120 and low voltage wiring.
Position Requirements:
NJ Electrical License required in good standing.
Minimum of 8 years electrical experience.
Knowledge of the installation and troubleshooting of generators.
Electronic calibration and troubleshooting skills are required.
Experienced in Commercial and Residential wiring.
Troubleshooting electrical issues.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Excellent customer service and communication skills as well as attention to detail.
Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

This position is deemed safety-sensitive under the U.S. Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s (PHMSA) regulations. Among other things, employees in this position are subject to drug and alcohol testing, including pre-employment testing, random testing, reasonable suspicion testing and post-accident testing. PHMSA-required drug tests include testing for marijuana. The use of marijuana, or testing positive for marijuana, is disqualifying and will lead to removal from performing safety-sensitive functions as well as disciplinary action.
