Yorktel is currently seeking a Finance Analyst who will support the FP&A team as the analytical engine of the company, providing insights and supporting ‘optimal’ business decision making, conducting in-depth analysis and providing strategic support to Senior/Executive Management. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and enables management and key stakeholders to be informed of financial and operational performance of the business. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for helping navigate complex financial decisions. This position requires building a comprehensive understanding of the business processes of the company working closely with the organization to close any gaps. Roles & Responsibilities:The Finance Analyst will be responsible for the following:Develop various aspects of the company’s rolling forecasts using data from diverse systems and sources.Maintain forecasts regarding sales bookings, revenue and profitability on a regular and ad-hoc basis.Develop robust forecasting tools, including planning software.Assist management in development of financial and operational metrics for effective monitoring of financial and operational performance.Provide pro forma financial and operational analysis as needed by management and key stakeholders.Assist with the development of customer profitability analysis.Create efficiencies and automation, through use of software and tools where available, with forecast items.Challenge the status quo of current practices to ensure accurate planning.Perform forecast to actual variance analysis.Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and recommendations.Collaborate with departments across to company to understand their goals and maintain updated forecasts.Participate in projects as required, for example analysis of new products.Skills & Abilities:Ability to get involved in the detail and provide pertinent insights from large amounts of data.Ability to deliver variance analysis against forecasts and plans in a clear and timely fashion to enable business leaders to make informed decisions.Ability to grasp a clear understanding of the businesses needs and processes and offer innovative solutionsExceptional communication skills.Strong computer skills, proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional Excel skills.Self-starter.Ability to manage multiple tasks at same time.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning software would be a plusEducation & Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field preferred.1+ year of experience in financial planning, financial analysis, accounting or a related role preferred.Additional & Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 25 poundsFrequent sitting and standingCurrent and active driver’s licenseTravel within the NJ area 20% timeDomestic travel (outside of NJ) 5%Join us and you will enjoy an excellent salary and benefits package, including 401k and Flex 125 plans.We conform to all the laws, statutes, and regulations concerning equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
