Role Overview
As a Systems Engineer V, you will be involved in the design, development, and testing of systems to fulfill unique requirements. You will need a strong background in software analysis for purposes such as dependency identification.
General Skillset
Experience with Microsoft Office
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
Critical Thinking Skills
Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed
Specific Skillset
Understanding of modern systems administration practices and procedures to include Unix Command line familiarity, Managing Windows Active Director and associated management tools, Administering group policy, and proficiency with Powershell.
Understanding of enterprise network management, software deployment and security practices.
Strong background in software analysis.
Background in virtualization concepts and platforms like VMware Products.
Strong background in computer networking.
Requirements
Education & Certifications
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Experience Requirements
6+ years' experience with Systems Engineering
6+ years’ experience with network management, software deployment, and/or security practices
Experience implementing systems life cycle management (requirements, design, develop, test, validate, deploy)
