Job Overview
The position will be based in Bosjesspruit, and the incumbent will report to the Foreman.
Key Job Responsibilities
Maintain safety (SHE) standards at all times.
Assist and work with artisan solve problem.
Safe and on-time delivery on machines.
Ensure correct and applicable use of and proper control of personnel protective equipment (PPE)
Always maintain quality workmanship.
Ensure proper timekeeping.
As far as practical and reasonable; assist to ensure that all areas both inside and outside of the workshop are kept neat, clean and in a safe condition with everything kept in designated areas.
Promote continuous improvement by identifying and facilitating the implementation of new ideas, processes and/or methods, by reporting it to the Foreman.
Qualifications/Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Mechanical experience.
Fault finding Mechanical skills and experience in the mining industry environment.
Hydraulic experience on JOY machines or similar (Shuttle cars and Continuous Miners).
Strong customer service orientation.
Understand and piping as per approved OEM drawings.
Crane and forklift license an advantage.
Experience in dismantling and assemble JOY machines.
Valid Driver’s License
