Infinite Health Collaborative (iHealth) Clinical Care Coordinator (P&O) - Twin Cities Orthopedics in Waconia, Minnesota

Description The Clinical Care Coordinator performs a variety of patient care and administrative responsibilities to support patient and providers. This is a full-time position working M-F from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and will be based our new Prosthetics & Orthotics department opening in Waconia. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions: Provide prompt professional communication with patients, clinic personnel, and insurance representatives (via phone, email, or other written documentation) Maintain provider schedules accurately to facilitate an efficient and organized clinical workflow Room patients, schedule patient's follow-up appointments, and collect co-payments as required. Coordinate and oversee the accurate acquisition of medical documentation to support prompt claim submission and optimal reimbursement Manage active work in-progress (WIP) list in an organized and timely manner as designated by the supervisor or manager Coordinate prior authorization/insurance verification processes for prosthetic and orthotic services. Review policy coverage details with the patient All other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: High School diploma/GED or equivalent Customer service experience required Administrative or medical office experience preferred Essential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines. Complete job required training.
