Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

This candidate will be working in the Quality department where their job duties will include:

• Inspection of all products/materials being received and being shipped out
• Performing first article inspection
• Inspecting raw materials, products being manufactured, and products being received
• Using a variety of inspection tools (Micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, etc.)
• Using inspection equipment such as Faro Arm and Leica Laser Tracker
• Overlapping some duties with receiving; inspecting parts coming in
• Reading blueprints and drawings
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Using pallet jacks and forklifts from time to time
• Documenting information in the ERP system
• Using computers and Microsoft apps

Hard Skills

• 5+ years of Quality Inspection experience

• Experience using inspection tools

• Experience reading blueprints and dimensions

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Vista, California.

Work Environment

Small machine shop environment. They will be working with 3 other people - 1 tenured inspector and 2 new inspectors.
