ENHANCED DUE DILIGENCE (EDD) SPECIALIST
Job Summary
The Enhanced Due Diligence Specialist is responsible for performing the on-site place of business (OPB) function for high-risk deposit accounts, assisting the Retail Banking & Operations Manager with functions related to retail banking (i.e., investigating teller cash differences, responding to requests for information (RFIs) received from the BSA Unit, working with Branch Managers to implement corrective action resulting from Quality Assurance (QA) reviews, audit, and compliance assessments, and all other duties as assigned.
Essential Responsibilities
Onsite place of business (OPB) function: Interview high risk clients at their place of business (POB) to complete analysis of their account relationships. Upload findings/supporting documentation (i.e., beneficial ownership) in Share Point and/or other bank platforms in accordance with the established policy and timing requirements.
Work with Branch Managers/Unit Supervisors to investigate teller cash differences and document findings for timely submission to the Retail Banking & Operations Manager.
Assist Branch Managers with responding to request for information (RFIs) received from BSA Unit and other business areas within timing requirements.
Assist Branch Managers with implementing corrective action (to include remedial training) resulting from Quality Assurance (QA) reviews, audits, and compliance assessment findings.
Provide support to Branches in the completion and submission of CTRs/Cash Repairs

Competencies
Comprehensive understanding of BSA, AML, OFAC, and retail banking policies/procedures
Knowledge of the operational procedures as well as the regulations that govern the financial industry in the related area
Knowledge in Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English
Ability to make oral and written presentations
Ability to work on time with project schedules and multiple priorities
Skills to maintain effective interpersonal relationships

Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration is required for this job or a minimum of one to two years of relevant experience in Compliance area and Branches experience .
