Northshore University Hospital Unit Concierge in United States

Unit Concierge - ( 80081 ) Position Highlights: • Position: Unit Concierge • Location: 4 Louis (Med/Surg), Evanston Hospital • Full Time/Part Time: Part-time, 20 hours per week • Hours: 7:00AM-3:30PM & 3:00PM-11:30PM • Required Travel: N/A What you will need: • License: N/A • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required • Certification: N/A • Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience required or 1 year of college and 1 year of work experience required • Skills: Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required What you will do: • Coordinate non-clinical duties of the nursing unit • Enter patient charges in computer • Coordinate patient flow of admissions and discharges • Order supplies • Customer service to patients, families, nurses, physicians and other support departments • Answer phones and relay messages as appropriate • Proactively identifies need for service recovery and follow up of resolution NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) is an integrated healthcare delivery system consistently ranked as a Top 15 Teaching Hospital in the U.S. The NorthShore system, headquartered in Evanston, Ill., includes five hospitals – Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, Skokie and Swedish.
