Aufgabengebiet:

  • Risikoeinschätzung (Berechnung) in Abstimmung mit dem Senior Underwriter oder im Rahmen der Zeichnungsvollmacht

  • Vorbereitung und Verhandlung von Angeboten im Rahmen der erteilten Vollmachten oder zusammen mit Senior Underwriter

  • Unterstützung regelmäßiger Berichtsprozesse und Datenanalysen zum Einblick in die Geschäftsentwicklung.

  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Senior Underwritern bei der Führung der Accounts, der Schnittstelle von Underwriting, Ausland, F&A und Schadenbearbeitung

  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Vertrieb bei der Kunden- und Maklerbetreuung, Teilnahme an Kundentreffen und Maklerbesuchen

  • Zusammenarbeit und professionelle Unterstützung der Account Relationship Manager

  • Erstellung von Schadenshistorien und -analysen, Dokumentation von Sonderdeckungen und Tarifen

  • Risikoanalysen aufnehmen/durchführen

  • Vorbereitung und Durchführung von IT-Buchungen (ALPS, eXtra, Inventarlisten, Buchungsanweisungen, Kontenübersichten)

  • Vorbereitung, Erstellung, Prüfung der Dokumentation (Policen, Nachträge, Rechnungen); Erstellung spezieller Versicherungsbestätigungen

  • Vertragspflege, -erneuerung, -vorbereitung, -ausführung, -verhandlung

  • OFAC-Audits, andere Berichtsanforderungen erfüllen

  • Marktbeobachtung / Wettbewerbsbeobachtung

  • Abgleich von Offene-Posten-Listen mit Forderungen

  • Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Präsentationen im Aviation Team

Anforderungsprofil:

  • Abgeschlossenes betriebswirtschaftliches Studium oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengangs

  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung bei einem Versicherer im Bereich Luftfahrt-Underwriting (General Aviation, Products & Airports)

  • Belastbarkeit, Flexibilität, Teamfähigkeit, schnelle Auffassungsgabe, Eigeninitiative, gute Selbstorganisation, Einsatzbereitschaft

  • Fähigkeit zu ertragsorientiertem Arbeiten sowie Kostenorientierung

  • Kommunikationsfreudigkeit, klare und präzise Ausdrucksweise. Bereitschaft zur vertrieblichen Unterstützung

  • Verhandlungssicheres Englisch

Tasks:

  • Close cooperation with Senior Underwriter in account management, interface of underwriting, foreign countries, F&A and claims

  • Close cooperation with Senior Underwriter and Sales in their customer and broker support, participation in customer meetings / broker visits

  • Cooperation and professional support of the sales offices / Account Relationship Managers (ARM)

  • Preparation and negotiation of offers within the framework of the powers of attorney granted or together with Sr UW;

  • Prepare and carry out IT entries (ALPS, eXtra, , inventory lists, booking instructions, account summary sheets)

  • Preparing, creating, checking documentation (policies, supplements, invoices); creating special insurance confirmations

  • Contract maintenance, renewal, preparation, execution, negotiation

  • meet OFAC audits, other reporting requirements

  • Market observation / Competitive intelligence

  • Reconciliation of open item lists with account receivables

  • Preparation and execution of presentations in the aviation team

Requirements:

  • Completed business administration studies or comparable studies

  • Several years of professional experience with an insurer in the field of aviation underwriting (General Aviation, Products & Airports)

  • Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, ability to work in a team, quick perception, initiative, good self-organisation, readiness to work

  • Ability to work profit-oriented, cost orientation

  • Communication skills, clear and precise expression. Willingness to provide sales support

  • Business fluent English
