Salary:$45,752

The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a full-timeTechnical Assistantin our Center for Corporate and Community Education (CCED) office. The Technical Assistant provides technical support to professional or administrative staff to assist in the efficient operations of the CCED Office.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Performs technical work to assist in the efficient programming of the CCED office;

  • Updates and maintains accounting software. Sends invoices and monthly reports;

  • Supports activities and events for the non-credit programs;

  • Prepares and maintains materials and in-class supplies for the CCED office;

  • Serves as a liaison between MVCC and external, non-credit partners regarding students and instructor needs;

  • Works collaboratively with funders and students to secure funding for student’s tuition;

  • Works with customers in-person, over the phone and email to help answer and triage questions;

  • Serves as liaison between CCED and College offices for CCED daily operations;

  • Collaborates, updates and maintains CCED web pages;

  • Assists with CCED reports, as appropriate;

  • Utilizes and maintains appropriate software for non-credit course programming;

  • Other duties as related to this job description and assigned by the Director of Workforce Development.

    Qualifications:

    Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Effective communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Familiarity with accounting software programs
