Teamlead Corporate Governance & Compliance (f/m/d)


Legal and group governance requirements become more challenging. Governance & Compliance topics include the maintenance of the group policy system and internal control system, drive compliance projects, but also ensure sustainability reporting.

As Teamlead Corp. Governance & Compliance (f/m/d) you will be responsible for the functional and disciplinary leadership of the Governance & compliance team and report to our Vice President Corp. GRC & Internal Audit / Corp. Accounting & Taxes.

Your Tasks

  • Drive and accomplish Governance & Compliance projects: group policies, internal control topics, compliance projects, sustainability reporting

  • All aspects of non-financial reporting and sustainability reporting

  • Sustainability management in terms of project management and measures monitoring activities

  • Project lead for special ad-hoc projects of high priority or complexity

  • Drive strategic development for Governance & Compliance topics

  • Develop methodology / processes

  • Set focus and priorities within Governance & Compliance topics and resources

  • Cost accountability

  • Disciplinary accountability for Governance & Compliance Team

  • Drive learning within the team and develop team to developing working needs

  • Coaching and sparring partner to team during projects

Your Qualification

  • University degree (Business Administration or comparable subjects)

  • Executive / professional educational program such as MBA, WP / StB, CIA etc. is a plus

  • Practical work experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Sustainability Reporting, Accounting / Controlling or Big 4 Company

  • Leadership experience is a plus

  • Good project management skills

  • Fluent in English and German; further language is a plus

  • Absolute personal integrity and authentic behavior; discretion & adequate handling of delicate issues as well as accuracy, analytical and entrepreneurial thinking

  • Proactive attitude and excellent communication skills

  • Good sense of group / company internal processes and business context

  • Willingness to travel (project related < 10%)

We offer an attractive and performance-related salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience and can be significantly higher than the collective agreement for this position (KV minimum on the basis of full-time employment is EUR 50.029,42 gross per year).
